Do you find the topics of vulnerability, blunt honesty and authenticity are almost taboo-like in our society? We can talk about pretty much anything on social media, share the most intimate moments of our lives but never dive in the depths of “why” we are like this, why we do what we do, and how we can make this world a better place?
Most of us are going through something. We smile in person, do our jobs, help others while the first person who needs help is ourselves. We cry when nobody sees, go through terrible growth pains, learn from our mistakes, and get attached to things and rituals that are falsely helpful. Traditional medicine typically treats the symptoms instead of looking for the root cause of a problem, and we may think working out will make us healthy, but there are often underlying problems to our health that we need to address at the same time.
We may do random jobs that are not our calling “because of this and that”. We may need some shocking events that will lead to the most important spiritual awakening of our lives.
Where am I headed with this? I’m introducing a new format for my blog. We’ll have a series of interviews with women entrepreneurs, bloggers and motivational speakers here once or twice a month. I admire these women and what they do for others, and I’m so lucky to interview them! This week I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Anya Kaats (IG: anya.kaats). If you don’t know much about Anya, she is a health nut, marketing expert, a phenomenal photographer, an honest truth speaker and incredible soul.
